Zeiss Ikon Contaflex S Matic Analogue camera

Offered: a good-condition classic Zeiss Ikon S-Matic 35mm single-lens reflex camera with central shutter system (leaf shutter). It was also often referred to as the Contaflex S or Contaflex S-automatic. The camera was produced between 1968 and 1972 by Zeiss Ikon AG. This company was founded in 1926 in Dresden and was at the time one of the largest and leading manufacturers of high-quality optical and photographic equipment in the world. The lenses for these cameras were supplied by the sister company Carl Zeiss. Light metering: built-in CdS light meter with semi-automatic or manual exposure control, needle on top of the camera pops out. Shutter: Synchro-Compur. Shutter speeds: B, 1 - 1/500. All shutter speeds functional, but not tested for accuracy. Lens mount: fixed lens with Ikolor C 1x filter. Special feature: offers option for interchangeable Pro-Tessar auxiliary lenses (such as wide-angle and tele). Lens: Carl Zeiss Tessar 50 mm f/1:2.8.
