About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools; she currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation, and development of artists and works of art, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensibility. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, landscape, and the intimate relationship between woman and her environment. Her works address with subtilty and strong visual impact topics such as beauty, love, sensuality, and feminine delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic, and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh, and deeply evocative works. The pictorial texture of her images, the masterful use of color, and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current artistic proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to ensure its integrity during transport. Shipments are carried out through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx, or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. The estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, although it may vary depending on the destination country. This diptych presents iconic portraits of Superman and Spider-Man executed not with traditional lines, but with a dense, fragmented assembly of white typography on a black background, powerfully evoking the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi. Just as this artisanal technique highlights the fractures of ceramic with gold to celebrate its history and fragility, the textual “scars” of these heroes are meticulously filled and accentuated with liquid gold (on Superman’s emblem and on Spider-Man’s mask and suit), transforming their narratives of conflict and responsibility into a precious, resilient beauty. The gold not only repairs but elevates these characters, turning them into symbols of rebuilt power and a humanity exalted through adversity.
