About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools, currently living and working in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her entrepreneurial vision with a deep artistic sensibility. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary means to explore themes related to nature, landscape and the intimate relationship between woman and her surroundings. Her works address with subtlety and visual force themes such as beauty, love, sensuality and feminine delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The pictorial texture of her images, the masterful use of color and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a contemporary artistic proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to ensure its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. The estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on the destination country. This notable piece of contemporary art reinterprets the Passion of Christ through the conceptual and aesthetic lens of the Japanese technique of Kintsugi. In this piece, Jesus’s tormented body, crowned with thorns and in prayer, is presented as a mosaic of fractures and repairs, where the skin, the tunic and the cross tattooed on his hands are joined by intricate lines of gold that shine against the texture of stone and bronze. Kintsugi, the art of repairing broken ceramics with lacquer mixed with gold powder, becomes here a powerful metaphor for spiritual redemption and divine resilience. The work does not hide the wounds or 'fractures' of the Passion, but elevates them, celebrating that repair and overcoming suffering create a new beauty stronger and more valuable, transforming the scars of martyrdom into marks of divinity and hope. The interaction between the fragility of the broken form and the luminous solidity of the golden repairs adds theological depth and a unique artistic sophistication, perfect for a high-end art auction.
