About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools; she currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company devoted to the sale, representation, and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensibility. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, landscape, and the intimate relationship between women and their surroundings. Her works address with subtlety and visual power topics such as beauty, love, sensuality, and feminine delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic, and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh, and deeply evocative works. The painterly texture of her images, the masterful use of color, and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a contemporary artistic proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The artwork will be carefully packed by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to ensure its integrity during transport. Shipments are carried out through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx, or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. This imposing piece features an angel kneeling in a deeply prayerful pose, with its sculptural form of white porcelain meticulously “repaired” using the Japanese technique of Kintsugi. Where the cracks and fractures once marked the figure, they now gleam with veins of pure gold, transforming the wounds into a testimony of beauty and resilience. The expansive wings, also adorned with this golden seam, unfold in a gesture of grace and protection. The work embodies the essence of Kintsugi, inviting the viewer to contemplate how the acceptance of imperfection and the healing of wounds can give rise to a beauty that is even deeper and more meaningful. This sculpture is not merely an aesthetic object, but a powerful reminder of the strength and transformation that arise from adversity, making it an exceptional piece for collectors who appreciate symbolic art and exceptional craftsmanship.
