Gemoest maple veneered writing box with inlay of rosewood, rosewood (palissander) and brass. The interior with various compartments and a writing area with green felt. Napoleon III period. Including key. In good condition. Small damages and restorations overall. The lid and the flap are a bit warped, and in particular the veneer on the writing flap shows some craquelure.
