Wristwatch: extremely rare Ulysse Nardin ‘Big Aviator’ pilot’s watch

Approx. Ø38mm, steel, screw-down, case number 614043, manual winding, movement number 239537, original, fantastically preserved, highly radioactive dial with a slightly brownish patina, luminous hands, center seconds, leather strap, in working order, fantastic condition. According to the archives, only 288 of these watches were produced in 1943 and only a ‘handful’ have survived. This is likely to be the best-preserved example to come onto the market to date.
