Winter light over the Mézenc - Anne Baudequin

Winter light over the Mézenc by Anne Baudequin Painting 19.7 x 13.0 :: Auvergne landscape France. What I sought to capture here is the melancholy of winter. There is no drama no storm just the silent weight of this mass of gray-blue clouds pressing down on the landscape imposing this diffuse light without cast shadows. Along the path a few crooked fence posts speak of the fragility of human presence in the solitude of this rugged wild and preserved Mézenc massif. The white finish on the sides of the canvas allows it to be hung without a frame should you wish. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Impressionist Subject: Landscape Width: 19.7 Height: 13.0 Depth: 0.8 Weight: 2.2 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
