WINDSWEPT (Polar Bears) - Patricia Mansell

WINDSWEPT (Polar Bears) by Patricia Mansell Painting 30.0 x 24.0 :: “The Polar Bear adapted to excel in a totally inhospitable environment and in the light of global warming may be reinventing itself for a life away from the ice. Digging a shelter and shielding its cub from the approaching storm this mother prepares to take the full force of the arctic’s fury.” I was inspired to paint this scene after listening to a National Geographic talk on the Polar Bear - this image came into my mind and I just had to paint it.
