A set of 12 rare crystal knife rests from the Art Deco period. The knife rests are hand-cut and have a particularly beautiful design in the characteristic Art Deco style. What makes these knife rests especially rare is that they all feature a floral painting. The paintings are still in near-new condition; there is no wear to be seen. The knife rests are made of high-quality Bohemian crystal. Six of the twelve knife rests are marked with 'TCHECOSLOVAQUIE'. The knife rests come in the original case with a lovely cobalt blue lining. The lining is printed with the name of the shop from which they were sold: Wille & Co, Amsterdam. This was a shop for luxury goods. Dimensions: Case: 32.5 x 11.5 x 3.5 cm. Knife rest: 9.5 x 1.7 x 2.3 cm. The knife rests are in superb condition! They are almost pristine; one knife rest has a small chip, see the last photo.
