WESTERN NEPAL A mask of the Nyinba ethnic group, made of black lacquered wood with traces of red lacquer; it features openwork almond-shaped eyes, a mouth stretched into a smile, a chin adorned with a goatee, and the top of the skull crowned with a mounting finial.
