Welo opal is Ethiopian

Adjustable 925 silver ring (S925 stamp) set with five Ethiopian opals cut in a faceted oval. The adjustable setting fits several finger sizes. The Ethiopian opal comes from the Wollo (Welo) region. The deposit was discovered in 2008 and surprised the gemology world: its play of colors rivals that of Australian opals. Each stone has its own fire, blue, green, pink or orange depending on the angle of the light. Important: the opal fires change very much depending on lighting, light, and brightness.
