Toutes les enchères / Mobilier, Design & Miroirs / Wall shelf unit - Bronze - Bronze shelf
Description Catawiki – Wall shelf/arm in gilded bronze Elegant antique architectural and decorative element, made of metal with gilded bronze finish, characterized by rich Rococo/Baroque ornamental decoration, with volutes, floral motifs, leaves and refined vegetal elements worked in relief. The structure features an angular shape composed of a decorated vertical bracket and a long horizontal arm, enhanced by elaborate ornamental workmanship. The ends are finished with rounded decorative details, while the rear part presents a dark metal framework intended for mounting. The piece bears witness to high-quality artisanal craftsmanship and preserves a beautiful antique patina, with natural color variations of the surface that enhance its authenticity and historic character. The floral decoration and the volutes give the object a scenographic appearance, ideal for classic, elegant interiors or for vintage-style interior design projects. Period: late 19th / early 20th century Style: decorative Rococo / Baroque Material: metal, probably bronze or metal alloy with gilded finish Dimensions: height 46 cm, width 68 cm, depth 24 cm Conditions: good vintage/antique condition, considering its age. It shows normal signs of time, patina, finish variations, small oxidations, and signs of wear visible in the photographs. There are also some irregularities and marks on the rear part. These elements should be considered part of the object’s history and authenticity. A very decorative and versatile piece, suitable as a shelf/ornamental staff, architectural element, decorative support, or component for an restoration project and period furnishings. A piece with great scenographic presence, particularly interesting for collectors of antique decorative elements, European antiques, and metal architectural fittings. Packaging and shipping: the item will be carefully protected and packed for shipment. Estimated delivery times: about 5–15 working days, depending on the destination.
