Wall mirror - Wood, Plaster, Glass - dead stock

Baroque Hollywood Regency Wall Mirror in Gesso and Wood Relief – 1950s/1960s – Warehouse Find (Dead Stock) Splendid and imposing vertical mirror in full Baroque / Hollywood Regency style, dating from the mid-20th century (estimated period: 1950s / 1960s). This item represents an extraordinary opportunity for collectors and lovers of mid-century design: it is an authentic DEAD STOCK (Warehouse Find) from the closing of a high-quality furniture shop of the era. The mirror has never been used, never hung, and retains its original patina intact. • Craftsmanship and Materials: The frame is made according to the classic technique of plaster paste molded on a structural wooden core. The surface is finished with rich period gold leaf, characterized by warm chiaroscuro and fascinating aging craquelure in the recesses of the carving, which attests to its authenticity. The back preserves the protective panel and the original ring-hanging hook. • Condition: Excellent vintage condition (Warehouse Find). Very solid and robust structure. Only a minimal superficial chipping of the gold layer on the upper entablature is noted (visible in macro photo), revealing the white plaster underneath, a detail that confirms the piece’s absolute authenticity. • Precise dimensions: Height 92 cm | Width 55 cm. • Weight: 5 kg (solid and sturdy structure). A dramatic and characterful furnishing piece, perfect for Hollywood Regency or eclectic spaces, or for styling luxury boutique interiors.

Estimation:€150
