Wall mirror - Wood, Glass

An antique Art Deco style wall mirror (also known as a dam mirror or pennant mirror) dating from the 1900s or 1910s. The piece is characterized by a dark brown, polished wood or walnut surface, an angular, stepped (geometric) top, and an interior, gilded (parcel-gilt) decorative strip. This classic design was extremely popular during the period, and models like this were often placed on narrow wall surfaces, such as between windows or doors, to increase the light in a room. It is in excellent condition, with minor signs of use, it has thick polished glass, and is not cloudy anywhere. We can post it carefully packaged, in an insured, registered package.
