Wall mirror - Glass, Wood - Mid-century throat mirror

Vintage shield-shaped wall mirror – gold-colour frame with red accent – pronounced patina An elegant mirror with a striking silhouette and full of well-worn character. The broad, softly rounded top tapers gradually to a narrow, rounded bottom. This graceful shield shape gives the mirror a refined look that fits beautifully with a vintage interior. The slim gold-coloured surrounding frame follows the contours of the glass and is equipped with a slim red decorative line. A subtle colour accent that adds extra uniqueness to the design. The mirror glass exhibits clear patina, stains and weathering. The scattered speckles and cloudy discolourations create a characterful surface. As a decorative wall object it also has a lot of presence, for example above a console, next to a vintage cabinet or between framed artworks. The design aligns with the organic lines of the mid-20th century. An attractive object for lovers of vintage mirrors who appreciate visible signs of age. Features * Elongated, shield-shaped wall mirror. * Likely period: 1950s–1960s. * Gold-coloured metal frame with red decorative line. * Rounded top and tapering bottom. * Pronounced patina and staining on the mirror glass. * Maker, exact metal type and origin unknown.
