Wall lamp - Mid-Century adjustable wooden wall lamp with...

Adjustable wooden wall lamp with cream shade – characterful and versatile Warm wood, gold-colored details and a soft cream lampshade: this adjustable wall lamp brings atmosphere and a striking construction into the interior. The long arm and visible hinges give the lamp a distinctive silhouette, while the reddish-brown wood tone provides a warm look. The arm can be placed in different positions, as shown in the photos. With this, the lamp can be nicely positioned next to a fauteuil, above a side table, or in a reading nook. The shade softens the light and creates a calm contrast with the geometric wooden construction. The combination of wood, metal links, and the shade is also known from adjustable wall lighting from the mid-20th century. Similar historical designs combine a decorative appearance with the ability to move the light source. The manufacturer and exact dating of this lamp have not been established. (1stdibs.com) Notable are the elongated wall plate with rounded ends, the double wooden supporting arm, and the slender rod that leads to the shade. The gold-colored connectors accentuate the mechanism. A atmospheric eye-catcher that pairs well with classical furniture, a rustic interior, or an interior with vintage accents.
