Wall decoration - The Great Wave - Five-panel painting

This multi-panel composition reinterprets the masterpiece through five vertical elements of different heights, creating a harmonious and dynamic whole that enhances the extraordinary expressive power of the original image. The monumental wave, with its foaming crests like claws, dominates the scene towering over the small boats of the fishermen. In the background, Mount Fuji emerges silent and motionless, creating a suggestive contrast between the uncontrollable power of nature and the serenity of the landscape. The refined color palette, dominated by Prussian blue, azure and delicate ivory and sand tones, preserves the timeless charm of ukiyo-e aesthetics, highlighting the movement of the waves and the richness of the details. The division into five vertical panels, arranged in a staggered composition, introduces a new architectural dimension to the work: the image unfolds in space, turning a famous Japanese print into a contemporary decorative element with a strong scenographic impact. The meeting of traditional Japanese art and the language of modern design makes this composition particularly suitable for minimalist environments, contemporary interiors and spaces inspired by Eastern aesthetics.
