wall clock - Steel, Wood - 2026 - ride old bikes

Wall clock created by a contemporary artist (biography attached) who used two brake discs and a clutch disc from a motorcycle, assembled with a hand-made wooden inner part treated with flame to achieve an antique effect. Inside, fragments of vintage musical scores were applied along with stickers bearing the emblematic phrase "ride old bikes." Reference numbers (12, 3, 6, 9) were hand-engraved on the clutch disc and painted with black and gold enamel on the surface of the brake disc, with Japanese ideograms. The clock mechanism is a classic AA 1.5V battery. It will be carefully packed and shipped by courier. Biography Andrea Oliva was born in Milan on 15/02/1973. He attended the classical high school, then followed his instinct, left the gymnasium and enrolled at the Caravaggio Art High School where he graduated in 1992 and subsequently at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. He plays in several musical groups (drums and guitar); simultaneously he attends the ateliers of already established artists and begins a long period of collaboration with some of them, from whom he learns the specific techniques of sculpture. He also worked for a period at the historic plaster shop "Fumagalli e Dossi." He begins a steady series of solo exhibitions, the first in 1994, and participates in sculpture symposia and competitions; he also becomes a member-artist of the Museo della Permanente in Milan. He also pursues painting and poetry, some of which has been published in specialized journals. He has carried out commissions for plaques reading "doctorate in chemical sciences and chemical engineering" for the University of Milan in 2004 and for the University of Insubria (Varese-Côme) in 2005. He has created several public monuments, one of the most important being a sepulchral monument located in Milan's Cimitero Maggiore.
