Vitra - Charles Eames - Side table - Model C - Walnut - Vitra stool model C

Vitra Stool Model C — Walnut Original Stool Model C, designed by Charles & Ray Eames and produced by Vitra, finished in a warm walnut wood finish. The Stool belongs to the characteristic small pieces of furniture from the oeuvre of Charles & Ray Eames. Although the design was originally conceived as simple and functional, it has a strong, independent presence due to its sculptural form and refined use of materials. Model C is distinguished by its compact, solid form and carefully rounded contours. The use of walnut emphasizes the natural character of the wood and gives the object a warm, subdued appearance. The Eames Stool is versatile in its use and can be employed as a stool, side table, or purely as a decorative design object. Precisely because of its modest size and clear design, it can be easily combined with other iconic pieces of furniture.
