Vitra - Charles Eames - Side table - Model B - Walnut - Model B

Vitra Stool Model B Walnut Original Stool Model B, designed by Charles & Ray Eames and produced by Vitra, finished in a warm walnut wood finish. The Stool is part of the characteristic small furniture objects from the body of work of Charles & Ray Eames. Although the design was originally conceived to be simple and functional, its sculptural form and refined use of materials give it a strong, autonomous presence. Model B distinguishes itself with its compact, solid form and carefully rounded contours. The use of walnut emphasizes the natural character of the wood and gives the piece a warm, understated appearance. The Eames Stool is versatile in use and can be applied as a stool, a side table, or purely as a decorative design object. Precisely due to its modest size and clean design, it is easy to pair with other iconic pieces of furniture.
