Toutes les enchères / Autres / Vitality - Japón en flor - Azaleas de Chausuyama I - XXL - No Reserve
A large-format work full of color, capable of becoming the main focal point of a contemporary interior. It can be exhibited both vertically and horizontally, with each rotation changing the movement, the visual center, and the overall perception of the composition. The idea for this painting emerged in May 2026, during the artist's stay in Hiroslóneas for an exhibition. After one of the days of the exhibition, the artist visited Chausuyama Park in Ōwani, whose slopes were covered with blooming azaleas. Among the batch of images are photographs of the park that allow the azaleas that inspired the palette and the idea of the work to be seen. These photographs are presented solely as visual and documentary reference. The painting does not represent the park literally, but conveys the impression of a large mass of color, light, and bloom through loose brushstrokes in shades of pinks, purples, yellows, greens, turquoises, oranges, and whites. The work is made with acrylic on canvas and has no single correct orientation. It can be displayed in four positions —0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°—; the signature is placed on the side and on the back to preserve this freedom of choice. It is the first work in the series Japan in Bloom.
