Vintage Memory Ring in White Gold with 0.90 ct Diamonds, Size 55, c. 1980
Memory rings are particularly symbolic pieces of jewellery whose ring band is set with gemstones of the same size. The name is explained by the fact that each individual gemstone is intended to stand for a specific, beautiful experience that is kept alive in the memory in this way. Memory rings are also often used as engagement or wedding rings. In this context, the term "eternity ring" is commonly used. This vintage ring has this classic shape. It is made from high-carat white gold and features 30 sparkling brilliant-cut diamonds with a total weight of around 0.90 carats. The gemstones in the Top Wesselton ("G") to White (Wesselton, H) color grades - i.e. "Fine White" to "White" - have a very beautiful fire that is shown to its best advantage by the light color of the high-carat white gold. As a full memory ring, the piece is set with gemstones all around. Unfortunately, it cannot therefore be resized. The ring was created around 1980 and makes a wonderful love gift or engagement ring. It came to us from Bremen.
