Vintage Aluminium Bulkhead Wall Light with Clear Glass

The bright silver aluminium finish on this light catches natural daylight and bounces it around the room in the nicest way, while the clear glass globe spreads a clean, even glow that feels modern yet full of sea history. Our vintage aluminium bulkhead light is a genuine mid-1900s salvaged piece that looks sharp on wooden walls or painted surfaces across the UK and Europe. The protective cage keeps everything safe and adds that classic industrial nautical touch without feeling heavy or dated. Yes, this silver bulkhead light suits narrow hallways, yacht cabins or garden walls where you want reliable outdoor-style lighting that still looks great inside. It is easy to live with and brings a fresh coastal vibe wherever you put it. Made from Solid Marine-Grade Aluminium The whole fitting is crafted from tough marine-grade aluminium that has already proved itself at sea. The angled arm lets the clear glass globe sit neatly away from the wall while the cage protects the bulb. At 1.2 kilograms it feels solid yet easy to handle – perfect when you are fitting it yourself. These lights originally lit passageways on working vessels in the mid-1900s. We salvaged each one and restored it carefully in Europe. Yes, we wrap it carefully in protective foam and place it in a strong box. Every order to the UK and Europe is fully insured and tracked so it arrives safely at your door. Q: Is this a real old ship light or a new copy? It is 100 per cent authentic, salvaged from working vessels in the mid-1900s and carefully restored in Europe. Every piece carries genuine marks from its time at sea. Q: Can I use it outdoors or in a damp area? Yes, the IP56 rating means it handles rain, sea spray and dust without any trouble. Customers happily use them on boats, garden walls and exposed porches all over the UK and Europe. Q: How easy is it to fit on the wall? It fixes with simple screw holes. The angled arm lets you position the light exactly where you need it. We recommend getting a qualified electrician to check the wiring because these are original fittings from ships. Just send us a message and we will work out good pricing and delivery details. Q: How do I keep the aluminium looking nice? A quick wipe with a soft cloth keeps it clean most days.
