This oil painting on canvas depicts an old half-open door of a Tuscan house. The sun shines through the branches of the bougainvillea, creating a beautiful play of shadow and light on the door and the floor. The painting is made with oil colors, applied generously to create relief both in the flowers and in the wall and the wood of the door, which appear weathered by time. Despite the classical subject matter, thanks to the XL size (the canvas measures 80x100 cm), this painting also suits contemporary spaces very well.
