Victoriano Berbegal (1925) - Costa Brava

Title: Costa Brava ㅤ School: European School (20th century) ㅤ Style: Realism with Impressionist / Marinismo ㅤ Technique: Oil on canvas ㅤ Condition: Good overall state of conservation. ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: The composition relates to the Mediterranean maritime tradition of the 20th century, especially Catalan and Spanish painting devoted to small coves, beached boats and rocky coasts. The free treatment of the material and the search for atmospheric effects show a clear inheritance of impressionism. ㅤ Coastal scene in which several fishing boats appear beached on the sand, beside a rocky coast that extends toward the horizon. The sea is depicted calm and luminous, while a sky filled with light clouds balances the composition. The painterly, tactile brushwork is especially evident on the rocks, the boats, and the foreground sandy area. ㅤ Dark wooden frame with a wide profile, accompanied by a light mat and delicate gilded moldings that elegantly frame the composition. ㅤ Observations: The work may sustain damage during transport even with proper packaging. In such a case, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. ㅤ Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions or weight of the item. PremiArt will in no case cover this surcharge. ㅤ The courier that must cross the Swiss border can experience much longer delays than usual, so, if possible, to speed up the process we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so the customer can release it and have it reach its destination. Experience has shown this to be the most effective solution for both parties. ㅤ Due to the high volume of shipments it is possible that the order delays by more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience. Any questions about your order please contact us via internal messaging. ㅤ Dimensions: 66 × 82 cm Dimensions with frame: 90 × 106 cm
