Victorian Peach Herringbone Mother of Pearl Satin Glass Vase
Victorian mother of pearl satin art glass vase in a peach and white herringbone pattern. The piece is constructed from cased glass with a white opaque interior and a translucent peach exterior featuring a distinct herringbone air-trap decoration. The form consists of a baluster body tapering to a flat base, rising to a cinched neck and terminating in a widely flared, ruffled rim with a crimped white edge. The exterior surface has a soft, acid-etched satin finish. The base bears two hand-applied paper labels: a rectangular label with handwritten text reading PEACH HERRINGBONE M.O.P. and TEMPLE'S ANTIQUES.
