Victor Turban - Regard bleu

Victor Turban – Regard bleu V. Turban is a French painter born in Croix, in the north of France. Passionate about painting from an early age, he began painting at the age of 10 before pursuing studies at the École des Beaux-Arts of the University of Lille. His artistic universe is characterized by a highly colorful and luminous approach, inspired in particular by landscapes, scenes of everyday life and contemporary atmospheres. This work, entitled “Blue Gaze”, presents a close-up female portrait built around the intensity of the gaze. The face gradually emerges through a rich painterly surface, where shades of white, gray, black and flesh tones overlap to create an almost fragmented effect. The luminous blue of the eye forms the focal point of the composition and contrasts strongly with the predominantly monochromatic palette. The broad areas of texture and gestural interventions around the face give the work a contemporary character that is both elegant and striking. The large format 90 × 120 cm significantly enhances the presence of the portrait and allows the painterly material to take full scale. Technique: oil on canvas Dimensions: 90 × 120 cm Signature: signed by the artist Support: canvas mounted on a keyed frame The artist’s biography will be provided in French with the shipment of the artwork.
