Very rare Mexican fire opal – a striking natural work of...

This exceptionally large Mexican fire opal impresses with its unusual size, the distinctive natural form, and the fascinating interplay of intense red, orange, yellow, blue, and green. Embedded in a characteristic reddish-brown matrix, numerous differently shaped opal areas appear, which, depending on lighting, present glowing color reflections. Particularly spectacular are the warm orange and red zones, contrasted by strong blue areas and individual green iridescent color accents. The irregularly distributed opal surfaces give the piece an extraordinary, almost mosaic-like appearance and make every side a new view. The high-gloss polish makes the translucent areas and the vivid colors especially come to life. The imposing egg-like shape underscores the sculptural character of this extraordinary specimen. An exceptionally rare-looking and highly decorative piece for collectors and lovers of Mexican fire opals, which due to its size, its unusual matrix structure, and the fascinating diversity of colors becomes a special eye-catcher. Such an opal egg is not only an aesthetic highlight but also a valuable piece for every mineral collection.
