Vase - Rare Model "Elegant Amphora with Grotesque Decor"...

Bring into your home a piece of authentic Italian artisanal tradition. This splendid amphora with high handles is a magnificent example of artistic maiolica, crafted and hand-painted entirely in Italy in the mid-20th century. The vase stands out for a majestic cobalt blue background on which refined grotesque motifs and heraldic mythical creatures rise, clearly inspired by the great Italian Renaissance ceramic tradition (famous for masters and historic workshops of Faenza, Deruta and Montelupo). In the center sits a finely detailed noble crest containing a fantastical creature, framed by Rococo scrolls in ochre and warm orange tones. The imposing handle-like handles and the elongated neck recall classical Greco-Roman forms, reinterpreted with the artisan excellence of Made in Italy. Every detail painted by hand makes this piece unique and unrepeatable. A prestigious furnishing accessory capable of immediately catching the eye in a living room, a study, or inside a collectible display case. Stamped at the base with the numbered brand (53 ITALY), a testament to the golden age of Italian artistic handicrafts exported in the 1950s. No refined interior is complete without the vibrant charm and warm atmosphere that only Italian artistic ceramics can offer. An unmissable opportunity for enthusiasts and antique collectors.
