Vase - Patinated bronze - Rococo / Neo-Rococo Style

Pair of decorative vases in patinated bronze, in Rococo / Neo-Rococo style. Each vase has a cup-shaped, crowned rim with acanthus- and volute-relief, two loop-shaped handles with foliate ornament, a slender neck with ribband, a pear-shaped body with a shell-cartouche and Rocaille, a cannelé stem section and an openwork foot on scroll feet. The foot on one side shows a shield-cartouche, on the other side a speckled (honeycomb) filling. Material: patinated bronze Quantity: 2 (pair) Style: Rococo / Neo-Rococo Period: late 19th century Condition Antique patina with brown, green and gold tones; that is part of the object.
