Vase - Brass, Enamel - China - cloisonné enamel (No reserve price)

Elegant and refined Chinese cloisonné enamel vase in an intense deep cobalt/lapis-lazuli blue, complete with its original lid topped by a brass bud knob. The entire body of the vase and the lid are finely decorated with gold filigree in continuous floral motifs (chrysanthemum/lotus scroll), created with the traditional cloisonné technique, where thin bronze wires form compartments filled with vitreous enamel. The vase is accompanied by its original dark hand-carved wooden base, which enhances its shape and electric color.
