Valdi - El lugar de las cosas bellas - XL

The Place of Beautiful Things In The Place of Beautiful Things, Valdi builds an interior where objects seem to gather not for their usefulness, but for the emotion they are capable of provoking. Flowers, books, color, and geometry coexist in a serene scene that turns an ordinary corner into a small territory devoted to beauty. The large bouquet occupies the center of the composition and expands freely across the deep blue background. The flowers, resolved through lines and graphic contrasts, converse with the vertical rhythm of the books and with the drawing of the vase, while the orange table introduces a warm surface that supports and balances the entire scene. The work speaks of our need to surround ourselves with that which makes life more agreeable: a book, a few flowers, a chosen object, a color that transforms a room. It is not about grand events, but about those apparently simple presences capable of building an intimate space and making it one’s own. The Place of Beautiful Things celebrates precisely that gesture: creating around us a world in which we wish to stay. A luminous and sophisticated work, with a marked chromatic presence, that finds beauty and emotion in the intimacy of everyday life.
