USA 1936 (Sept 2) Merrill and Richman New York to London and return flight cover with USA 6c tied 'Brooklyn Sep 2' c.d.s, then 'Llandilo 4 SP' transit strike (having been forced, by a lack of fuel, to land in Wales), with GB KEVIII ½d (2) and 1½d applied and tied 'Southport Lancs 14 SP 36', for the return trip. Again they were forced to land, this time in Newfoundland, with 4c applied and Musgrave Harbour 'SP 14' cancel, a second USA 6c applied upon arrival in the USA tied 'Los Angeles SP 25' c.d.s. Vertically folded and minor soiling and creasing, signed by Harry Richman, a great rarity with very few return covers recorded.
