Ursula van de Bunte - Majesty

The story of the Jelly is a story of images full of gentleness, vulnerability and femininity. These handmade creations consist of 90% water, just like the human body. In these translucent forms, the photographer incorporates unexpected elements. Ursula’s Jellys symbolize that delicate vulnerability, but also represent the softness and strength of women. The organic shapes of the 'appealing desserts' reflect the natural beauty and cuddliness of the female body. Transparent and pure, but also unfathomable because you don’t know what unfolds inside. The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio housed in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is shown in museums, galleries and at art fairs. Majesty is a stunning print on Hahnemuhle Baryta in the format 25x25. It is the second edition of 25 copies.
