Urn - Italian Porcelain - Neoclassical porcelain-covered vase - Porcelain

Elegant urn / decorative covered vase in cobalt blue glazed porcelain (in the Sevres style) and chased gilt bronze. The piece features a central hand-painted panel depicting a rich bouquet of flowers (roses, anemones) signed by the artist. The ensemble rests on a square bronze claw-foot base and bears two elaborately styled side handles as well as a lid surmounted by a pinecone-shaped knop. Manufacture / Brand: A.C.F. (Artistiche Ceramiche Fiorentine), marked under the base "ACF MOD DEP" (Registered Design). Materials: Fine glazed porcelain and bronze / gilded brass. Decoration: Hand-painted floral decoration (signed), gilding with gold paint on a midnight blue background. Origin: Italy (Florence). Period: 1910-1930 Condition: Very good overall condition. The porcelain and the painted decoration are very well preserved.
