Unworn Platinum Ring with Sapphires & Diamonds from Our Workshop

Sky-blue sapphires and diamonds as white as clouds in a summer sky: this ring from our workshop sets these precious stones in cool, shiny platinum, close together so that only sparkling light can be seen. The side view of the ring shows romantic ornaments borrowed from 19th century jewellery. Our goldsmiths designed the ring based on English models from the late Victorian era. In those days, a lady liked to wear many different rings on her hand. Each ring had a personal meaning for her, e.g. commemorated a beautiful event, and their interaction told a whole life story. This is why the ring is designed across the finger and is rather narrow: several rings could and can be worn next to each other on the same finger. Wearing only single, but larger rings on the hand only came into fashion later. However, the color combination of the ring is completely unhistorical. In the 19th century, such a ring would have been made in warm yellow gold. However, the color scheme, reduced to blue and white, forms an attractive contrast to the ornamental shapes and gives the ring a fresh look. In addition, all the stones are set in such a way that the ring is also ideal for everyday wear.
