Universal Genève vintage men's watch, reference 21222, dating from the early 1940s and featuring a classic configuration with small seconds at 6 o'clock. The case measures 34 mm without crown and is made of Enversteel steel. On the external caseback are the serial number 802768 and the reference 21222. Inside the caseback you can see the circular mark Universal Genève / U.W. / Genève and the wording ENVERSTEEL. The watch houses a manual-wind mechanical movement Universal Genève caliber 260, clearly stamped on the movement and signed: UNIVERSAL GENEVE 17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS SWISS The movement is therefore in the 17 jewels configuration with small seconds. The watch has been recently serviced and is currently in perfect working order. The dial presents a beautiful argenté/ivory shade with a pronounced natural patina due to age. There are applied baton indices, silvered hands, and the small seconds counter at 6 o'clock with concentric finishing. The case and caseback show scratches and normal signs of wear consistent with the age of the watch. The dial also shows marks and superficial blemishes visible in the photographs, which contribute to the authentically vintage character of the piece. The strap is black leather and measures approximately 22 cm in total length. The watch is sold exactly in the conditions shown in the photographs.
