All automatic watches, on first use, must be wound also from the crown; wrist movement alone is not enough to maintain the required power reserve. It is recommended to set the date with the crown when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55. (Some models have a screw-down crown; for settings, gently unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Don’t forget to screw the crown back firmly after modifying the desired settings.)
