comprising two Caithness glass paperweights, each of spherical form shading from frosted colourless to deep teal and acid etched throughout with cog wheels, ratchet bands, spirals and clock parts, a polished circular window to one side revealing a green and blue interior with a chapter ring of Roman numerals in cobalt blue and a pair of tapering gilt hands converging at the centre, engraved about the window Caithness Scotland and Midnight and with a limited edition number; and a Lalique opalescent glass owl, modelled perched with the wings folded, the plumage and the radiating facial discs moulded in relief, the base signed Lalique (R) France.
