Turkmen - Rug - 280 cm - 192 cm

omadic rug produced in Afghanistan. It is knotted with 100% wool. It features around 60,000 knots per square meter. Their rugs, whether medallion- or spike-patterned, maintain a geometry that makes them very different from the rest of the region. For their construction, the Persian knot is used on a warp and double weft in cotton with locally sourced wool from the area.
