This is an extraordinary 1920 historic land deed (Tapu document) issued during the short-lived Syrian Arab Kingdom era in the State of Damascus, specifically from Douma District (قضاء دوما) on July 8, 1920. ​The document features a unique combination of historical revenue stamps: ​Hejaz Railway Aid Stamps (1 Piastre Pair): Printed directly on original Ottoman match tax banderol stamps (Kibrit Bandrolu / كبريت باندروليدر - بش باره) originally produced in the late 1800s by the Bandrol Idaresi. Later reused for the Hejaz Railway Aid Tax, this issue represents one of the earliest Syrian emissions on distinctively textured fiscal paper.
