Artist CV – Toni Cimino TONI CIMINO – Contemporary Artist Toni Cimino is an Italian contemporary painter with more than thirty years of artistic experience. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, collaborating with Atena Gallery in Como, Galleria San Giorgio, and Art Eventi Mazzoleni in Bergamo. In 2012 he was selected as one of the 49 finalists for the Premio Arte Mondadori at the Permanente in Milan. His artistic research focuses on the contemporary landscape, through a personal and recognizable painting language. Suggestive skies, essential horizons, and intense chromatic contrasts give life to suspended atmospheres, where light and color evoke emotions, silence, and anticipation.
