Available for any information and details BIOGRAPHY Tommaso Cascella was born in Rome in 1951. Painting and sculpture are natural languages for him, the result of a multigenerational heritage. His painting tends toward a three-dimensional transposition, in symbiosis with his bronze sculpture. Cascella’s intense chromatic compositions are true architectures dotted with symbols, almost an alchemical alphabet charged with universal meanings. Painting and sculpture are treated with a desire to contaminate sight with touch, the smooth surface of color with a stratification of gestures and signs, the ideal plane of painting with conspicuous material insertions.
