Timeless Vintage Solitaire Ring With 1.10 ct Brilliant, Vienna c. 1950s

A large diamond of one carat or a little more is an everlasting delight. The size is just enough so that the stone is still suitable for everyday use, and yet also not to be overlooked. As a solitaire ring, such a diamond is a timeless classic, especially when the diamond has been cut to a brilliant, which optimally ignites the fire of the stone. The ring presented here sets a particularly high quality brilliant cut diamond of about 1.10 carats in a setting shaped like a small crown. The ring is made of white gold and holds the central diamond within only six prongs – light, airy and yet secure. The ring's tall design allows plenty of light to fall into the diamond, which it reflects in a wonderfully sparkling way. The large diamond displays an untoned white colour with hardly visible inclusions (Top Wesselton, G, vs2). The ring was crafted in Vienna, as evidenced by its hallmarks, which is where we also discovered it. We date the well-preserved piece to the 1950s. Rising above all fashions, the ring will continue to bring joy to the next generation.
