Themed collection - Jewelry from the Flower Power era (1960–1970).

Jewelry from, among other things, the Flower Power era. The Flower Power movement began in the mid-1960s, mainly in the United States and was an artistic youth culture in which mainly young people (also called hippies) participated. They often lived in communes and protested against the war (including the Vietnam War), hunger and poverty in the world. It was an open way of life that was not always appreciated by older generations. Flower Power was also characterized in clothing and hairstyles: floral patterns and colors, hair accessories and loosely flowing clothing (sometimes tight miniskirts and hotpants as well). Music also played a major role. The songs (e.g., by Scott McKenzie, Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Beatles) often dealt with peace, love, freedom and solidarity. Flower Power was also featured in films (e.g., the film "Almost Famous"). The Woodstock music festival in 1969 marked a high point in the Flower Power movement. The movement also arose in other countries. The collection includes, among other things, hippie Flower Power Sixties jewelry. These are characterized, among other things, by flowers and colors. The materials used include, among others, silver (silver-plated), gold (gilded), steel, plastic, wood, glass (including rhinestones), shells and semi-precious stones. It concerns: - 25 necklaces consisting of bead necklaces (e.g., multichain) made of faux pearls, glass, semi-precious stones, mother-of-pearl and rhinestones. The necklaces range in length from 40 to 120 cm. There are also necklaces with pendants. - 21 brooches and pendants in various designs, materials and sizes. There is also a lot of rhinestones. - 8 bracelets in various designs and sizes. The diameter varies from 7 to 8 cm. - 4 chain bracelets in various designs, materials and sizes. - 26 earring sets in diverse designs, materials and sizes. - 5 playful rings. - 3 handsome copper miniatures (bonbonnière, little stove and measuring cup). - 1 a beautiful glass bijouterie box. It consists of faceted glass, with the glass nicely engraved with foliate motifs. The dimensions are l × w × h = 15 × 10 × 8 cm. The total weight of the jewelry is about 4 kilograms.
