Stunning collectible pocket watch signed The Franklin Mint, dedicated to the majestic bald eagle and to “The Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve.” A very beautiful collection piece kept in exceptional condition, near mint, with its chain, case, and original packaging. The front cover features a magnificent relief decoration depicting a head of a bald eagle, finely detailed in ivory, brown, and gold tones. The central medallion is surrounded by a rich textured design that underscores the naturalistic and refined character of this Franklin Mint creation. On opening, the watch reveals a superb deep blue dial showing an eagle in full flight before a wild, mountainous landscape. The Roman numerals and the gold hands contrast elegantly with the blue dial and perfectly highlight this scene devoted to Alaska’s wildlife.
