Ten Cane 13-Year-Old Rum – Trinidad – Natural Colour, No Added Sugar Ten Cane was a premium light rum brand from Trinidad, owned by LVMH and introduced by Moët Hennessy in 2005. Production ceased in 2015, making its bottlings an interesting addition to any rum collection. The name Ten Cane pays tribute to the traditional practice of harvesting sugar cane by hand and tying the stalks into bundles of ten. Unlike rums made from molasses, Ten Cane is produced from fresh sugar cane juice. The spirit undergoes a five-day fermentation before being distilled in small-batch pot stills, then matured for several years in French oak casks. This particular bottling has an age of 13 years and showcases the pure, authentic character that makes Ten Cane such an appealing name for rum enthusiasts.
