Telefunken - 478 Tube radio

This splendid object is a vintage radio cabinet with a turntable, Telefunken model 579 (also known as radiogramophone), dating from the 1930s with a refined burl walnut veneer. Two large front doors allow the cabinet to be closed completely when not in use, turning it into an elegant piece of mid-century modern furniture that hides the technology of the era.
