The work translates a daily reality into a visual language of repetition and rhythm. At the center is the tension between control and temptation, two forces that continually vie for precedence. Each work consists of a box filled with insulin syringes, hand-arranged into a pattern on a wooden substrate. The placing requires patience and precision; the repetition that emerges evokes the routines through which a life organizes itself, whether diabetes is involved or not. A plexiglass cover closes the work, temptation that remains visible, but just out of reach. Shipping The artwork will be shipped in its original box. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
