Table lamp - Art Nouveau - Brass - Cherub

This elegant desk lamp, made in the second half of the 20th century, combines the sinuous sensibility of Modernism with a decorative interpretation inspired by the great models of Art Deco. Its design stands out for the harmonious integration between sculpture and functionality, giving rise to a piece of great ornamental value capable of becoming the protagonist of any space. The structure is made of warm-toned bronze and is articulated by a slender curved arm that rises organically from a perforated, plant-inspired base. This ascending line, characteristic of the modernist language, provides visual lightness and a sense of continuous movement that guides the eye toward the central element of the composition: a delicately modeled cherub with great expressiveness, suspended above the lamp as if gracingly holding the tulip shade. The winged figure, evidently inspired by symbolism, lends the whole a poetic and romantic character, evoking the ornamental repertories that enjoyed great success in the decorative arts of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Its presence introduces a sculptural dimension that makes the lamp much more than a functional object. The crystal tulip, delicately molded with a wavy profile and scalloped edge, presents soft nacreous shades and warm tones that diffuse the light in a pleasant and enveloping way. The decorative reliefs in the glass further enrich the design, creating attractive lighting effects when the piece is lit. The combination of patinated bronze, the cherub figure, and the elegance of the crystal yields a refined ensemble, where modernist organic fantasy converges with the decorative sophistication associated with Art Deco tastes. Ideal atop a desk, a console, or a coffee table, this lamp adds personality, warmth, and a distinguished vintage air, becoming a decorative piece with great presence and timeless charm. Tracked shipping and careful packaging.
